The Link-NCA was conducted in Thatta and Dadu District, South Sindh Province, Pakistan, a region that was significantly affected by flooding in 2010. MAG rates were categorized as highly critical before the onset of the 2011 floods. Factors have been found to influence the nutritional status of children in the region: lack of alternative sources of income for households, lack of continuous and frequent breastfeeding, inappropriate feeding practices such as introduction Complementary foods and low dietary diversity.
